If you are a BaubleBar fan, you should already know that something very special happened on our site this morning…Fusion officially launched with our first collaboration, Erickson Beamon! Yesterday on the blog, we told you all about why Karen and Vicki (the Erickson Beamon designers) are so amazing. They were definitely always a fave of mine to shoot when I was an accessories editor at WWD.
Now, I‘ll fill you in on what went into the design of Fusion and the Erickson Beamon + BaubleBar collection itself. When we were putting this collaboration together we wanted to really set it apart from the rest of BaubleBar, both in terms of the site design as well as the pieces themselves. I wanted the look of Fusion to feel much more editorial, and what better way to do so than with the look of a magazine article? So, working with Lilia, our fabulous Director of Creative Visual, we created what you see on the site today. The shoot itself was inspired by the color manipulation in the Gucci and BCBG ad campaigns and was shot in one of Team BaubleBar’s favorite tequila bars: Los Feliz. With our incredible model, Shanna from Major, hair by Shlomi Mor and makeup by Cabiria Rosado, well, you can see how great the end result was…well, we certainly think so!
For the collection itself, I thought it would be great to have Erickson Beamon work their magic with color, and boy did they! The Pearl Jam and Dirty Glam pieces really help round out the full collection, so that there truly is something for everyone. Wear one piece, or an entire group together (as you can see from the shoot, the latter looks pretty amazing)! Be the first to pick up the Erickson Beamon + BaubleBar collection today – I know I plan on getting one of everything!
