A wonderful little ditty for The Gulkin Gazette Friday Feature… of which is long overdue in the Little Ditties Department. Believe you me, they are going to get a strong talking to, and will be picking up the pace on The Gazette once again!

I do hope that you enjoy,”America”, with beautifully universal lyrics by Paul Simon, performing in 1960s folk-rock duo, Simon & Garfunkel. Released in April of 1968, the song ‘America’ eventually reached #97 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in ’72.

Fun Fact via Wikipedia:

It was included in their album Bookends, released on 3 April 1968, and is notable as one of the few rock records to have a completely unrhymed lyric.
